The Home Report was introduced with effect from December 1st, 2008 and is legally required to be produced for the vast majority of residential homes marketed in Scotland with effect from that date.

The Home Report is designed to be of valuable assistance to all home sellers and prospective home purchasers and should be viewed as a significant benefit.

Only a Chartered Surveyor and member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveryors – ( RICS ) – Scotland – is legally qualified to undertake the necessary property survey and produce the Home Report.
